National Conference:Jonathan appoints Kutigi as chairman ,Akinyemi,vice chairman

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Justice Idris Kutigi as the chairman of the forthcoming National Conference.
A statement Mnday evening by Mr Anyim Pius Anyim,Secretary to the Government of the Federation also named Professor Bolaji Akinyemi as vice chairman while Dr(Mrs) Valerie Azinge will serve as the secretary
The statement said “His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has approved the appointment of the Leadership of the National Conference as follows:Honourable Justice Idris Lebo Kutigi - Chairman;Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi-Vice Chairman (and) Dr. (Mrs.) Valerie Azinge -Secretary
According to the statement, “The appointees are to resume at Abuja on Wednesday, 5th March, 2014 and would be received on arrival by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
